| Proctor Band Boosters |
In the school year 2007-2008, TEF was alerted by the Topsfield School District that the
Proctor Band Program was facing a deficit. The band program does not receive any
monetary support from the Proctor school budget. The program is paid for by user
fees, fund raising, and donations. TEF pledged $10,000 over three years to ensure that
the Proctor Band Program would not be cut due to loss of funding. With aggressive fund
raising and donations, The Band Boosters raised almost $9,000 for the 2007-2008
school year!
TEF and its Band Boosters paid $14,000 to compensate for the 2008-09 school year
deficit and $15,000 for the 2009-2010 year. We are doing all that we can to keep the
Proctor band in place. Please keep your TEF donations coming so we can continue
enjoying our great band program at Proctor!
