FIRST Lego League (FLL) is a global program created to get kids excited about science and engage them in research, problem solving, and engineering.The cornerstones of the program are its Core Values, which emphasizes contributions of others, friendly sportsmanship, learning, and community involvement. FIRST stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.
Topsfield FLL Teams:
Teams are open to children 10-14 years old. Children should have a love of technology, science, computers, and must be able to work independently as well as handle themselves productively in a team environment.
Teams will meet once a week from October to December with additional meetings allotted to do research and robot programming. The season will end with a Saturday full day tournament in December.

Through the 2010 Body Forward Challenge, Topsfield FLL teams will explore the cutting-edge world of biomedical engineering to discover innovative ways to repair injuries, overcome genetic predispositions, and maximize the body's potential, with the intended purpose of leading happier and healthier lives.
